Homemade incense compositions

  • All-natural ingredients.
  • Made from pure and natural Joss powder.
  • Without charcoal
  • Soaked in therapeutic essential oils.

Joss powder, also known as "incense powder," is a key ingredient commonly used in the production of incense sticks and cones.

It is made from the bark of certain trees, particularly in Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. The main tree used for incense powder is the Litsea glutinosa tree, also called the "joss tree" or "agarwood tree."

The bark of the Litsea Glutinous tree is harvested, dried, and then ground into a fine powder, which serves as a binder and fuel base for incense products.

Joss powder helps incense sticks and cones retain their shape during production and burning. Additionally, it provides a smooth and consistent burn, allowing the fragrance to gradually release as the incense burns.

Manual

Prepare your space

  • Bring the flame (candle or lighter) to the end of the stick. Let it burn for a few seconds until a small flame appears.
  • Blow gently to leave only a glowing ember. The stick will then release a fragrant smoke.
  • Install it on its support, away from flammable objects, drafts and out of reach of children and animals.
  • Enjoy the scent and the atmosphere created.
  • You can extinguish your stick at any time by pressing it into sand, dirt, or a non-flammable surface.

⚠️ Warning

  • Never leave burning incense unattended.
  • Keep out of reach of children and animals.
  • Use in a well-ventilated area.
  • Do not inhale smoke directly.
  • Place on a heat-resistant surface, away from any flammable materials.
  • Do not use if you have a known allergy or sensitivity to essential oils.
