Unapologetically Salem.
It opens with a dry pepper and a quickly fading bergamot — just enough to prepare for what's to come. An introduction, not a promise of lightness.
The heart belongs to patchouli. Dense, earthy, a little animalistic. Roasted coffee anchors it in something bitter and almost ritualistic, like incense burning on a cold stone. The vanilla doesn't sweeten — it rounds, holds, prevents the whole from becoming too raw. It's an intentional tension.
In the base, resins take hold. Benzoin, copaiba, labdanum — a slow warmth that embeds itself in the skin and refuses to leave. Cedar and vetiver add something mineral, root-like, deep earth.
Salem stays. Long after you think it's gone. 🖤🌿

Tips to extend lifespan:
- Use a well-draining soap dish.
- Allow the soap to dry completely between uses.
- Avoid leaving it soaking in standing water.
- Choose the storage location carefully: Leave it to dry in a dry, ventilated place (avoid closed shower cubicles where humidity remains for a long time).
- Cut the soap in half (or into several small pieces): Using half a bar at a time limits water exposure and makes the rest last longer.
- Use a soap pouch (a cotton or sisal net): it allows the soap to lather while allowing it to dry faster. Plus, it's zero waste because you can use up the little bits of soap in it!
